JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Landscape Installation Technician
Working with the Landscape Installation Foreman, you will assist with different facets of the landscape process. This involves bed preparation work, planting of trees and shrubs, some hardscape installation and the clean-up and mulching of beds. You will actively participate in team development through the M.J. training program. Each day will bring on opportunities to learn and try different things. M.J. Landscape Maintenance Technician
Working with our Landscape Maintenance Foreman, you will assist with maintaining the properties of M.J Design Associates clients’. This will involve; mowing, trimming, pruning, weeding, clean-up and mulching. You will actively participate in team development through the M.J. training program to learn proper horticultural techniques. M.J. Design is not your typical landscaping company. April through November Part-Time
M.J. Design is looking for candidates willing to take on a variety of responsibilities and facilitate quality communication within our team. Our part-time teammate should not be afraid to get a little dirty—while staying motivated to learn about various plants, perennials, and proper maintenance techniques!
Our part-time schedule offers employment from April to November. Depending on the position hired, job duties might include tasks like:

Watering landscapes for our clients

Pruning & weeding M.J.'s office gardens

Keeping our shop organized

Managing materials (ordering/receiving)

Lifting up to 25 lbs.

Operating a zero-turn mower

Managing time & project schedules
-
Willing to learn Spanish

Experience with landscape skills is a plus!

Experience operating a Bobcat is a plus!

Valid Ohio Driver’s License needed
